California has always provided support for higher education but not anymore. â€Å"...the Golden State is becoming more like others in the view that students are the main beneficiaries of a college education and should bear most of the cost,† writes the Los Angeles Times. Students will have to pay more tuition than before for higher education, a transition that would resembling that of other states and not how California has always been. The state’s higher education budget cuts are affecting students greatly and its making it harder for average families to afford the costs. The increasing cost of attending a four year college has made other students struggle to pay it off while still burring other students in debt. The net price for attending a four year college will likely rise in the coming years, since tuition is growing faster than the financial aid. Students are doing anything to avoid having to take loans or even pay back huge amounts of money.
